USC Football Transfers 2010 = Four (4) Already, Expect More?
The USC football program is greatly suffering from the recent NCAA sanctions. But don’t feel bad for them. They have a lot of “talented” players, but it seems like every single year, they disappoint by losing to a team that they should beat.
USC are losing superstar athletes from all different positions. They have already lost 4 players in recent weeks. We may perhaps see more players transferring out soon before the 2010 USC college football season is set to begin.
The 1st player to get the transferring pendulum going was Jordan Campbell. According to Scout, Campbell was a 4 star outside linebacker, ranked #9 in his position. He decided to take his skills to Louisville, playing for new head coach, Charlie Strong.
Then, Malik Jackson decided to transfer to the University of Tennessee. He was a 3 star defensive end, ranked #66 at the position. At the same week, Seantrel Henderson was released from his USC commitments and he is going to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
This past week, Byron Moore transferred out of USC to go to Harbor College, a local Los Angeles community college. And finally, DJ Shoemate decided to transfer to the University of Connecticut due to his desire to play as a running back.
All-in-all, there have been 4 transfers and 1 release. The upcoming weeks are going to be interesting (to say the least). Will more USC players transfer out? Yeah, we think so. But who? That is the question.
