Around 10:30AM a gunman walked onto the campus of Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon and injured over 20 people and killing 13, most of whom are college students.
We do not know yet the real identity of the shooter other than that he is a 20 year-old white male who has serious mental health issues and that he possibly posted his warning onto the popular anonymous board 4chan the night before the attack. But we do know that he is dead.
The shooting happened around 10:30AM. The gunman was described as wearing a dark shirt and jeans. This is just the latest in a string of mass shootings on school campuses nationwide that have produced a government divided over gun control laws and regulations.
In his evening speech, Obama calls to overhaul the gun legislation in America. He started his speech by saying, “There’s been another mass shooting in America…” Words too familiar with too many Americans these days.

In addition, mental health is another matter that this nation must take an in-depth look at. The mental health services and gun control issue is what we need to address to find a possible solution to these mass shootings on campus.
