Modesto’s Central Catholic Alum, Chase Deadder Cut from Titans

On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans made some cuts on their roster in order to be under the 75 players mark by today.

One of those players cut was former Central Catholic (Modesto, CA) standout, Chase Deadder. Deadder was signed on as an undrafted free agent from Sacramento State. After having a successful career in Sacramento, he quickly signed on with the Titans and was somewhat a long shot to make the final 53-man roster.

In 3 preseason games, Deadder did not register any statistical highlights. He is eligible to be on the Titan’s practice squad, if they desired so, once he passes through waivers, where any of the other 31 NFL teams could claim him.

In addition to Deadder, the Titans cut 10 other players. They were QB Nick Stephens, RB Herb Donaldson, TE Joey Haynos, WR Laquinton Evans, WR Marcus Harris, OL William Vlachos, OL George Bias, OL Jonathan Palmer, S Christian Scott, and K William Batson.
