Mitch Mustain To Stay At USC = Huge Mistake, Won’t Transfer To Tennessee Vols

Today, Mitch Mustain reiterated his allegiance to the University of Southern California (USC) football team and won’t transfer to the Tennessee Volunteers or any other programs. In a live chat that lasted about 45 minutes, a question was asked if he was going to stay at USC. His response was a simple, “Yes, I am”.
He answered some more questions regarding his summer, fall and future plans. Some of Mustain’s goals for the upcoming season and beyond are to increase his weight, become more motivated, and generally get ready for the NFL by getting better in all aspects of the game. We would like to see Mustain become the starter because he is the best quarterback at USC. He did more with what he had at Arkansas by going 8-0 in his freshman year in the best conference in college football, that is, the SEC.
Mitch Mustain’s football career did not go as expected. He has made 3 major mistakes in his football career. The first was going to Arkansas. After completing an astounding 61-2 record since his junior high school days, he transferred to a school, where he had second thoughts about. This and disagreements with the coaches at Arkansas led him to make his 2nd mistake which was transferring to an overrated USC program, who rightfully deserved their 2 year post-season ban (we think it should have been 5 years).
At USC, he showed some flashes of brilliance but he was beaten out by Mark Sanchez during his 1st year of eligibility at the university. Then came last year, where he was beaten out by highly-touted and grossly hyped-up freshman Matt Barkley, who threw for 14 interceptions in the 2009 football season.
And finally, good news arrived from the NCAA. The NCAA allowed USC players to transfer to any school and they won’t have to sit out for an entire year. This is where Mustain made his 3rd mistake. Instead of bolting to other schools like some of his teammates, Mustain has decided to stay (for now). As a result, he will serve as backup to sophomore QB Matt Barkley. He will try to make the best of his situation and will try to become the next Matt Cassel, a dream that we see him not accomplishing. Good Luck, Mitchy.
