Lakers’ Parade 2010 [VIDEO]= Overrated eh, 2 million loud fans?
The Los Angeles Lakers are celebrating their win over the Boston Celtics in the 2010 NBA Finals with a parade on Monday that starts from the Staples Center to the University of Southern California’s (USC) Galen Center.
Estimates have shown that up to 2 million fans are going to line up along the parade route to cheer on the Lakers. Instead of having a formal interview at the beginning and end of the parade celebration, the Lakers decided to give their speeches during the ride. Perhaps, this was planned in order to inhibit any unruly activity where a large group may incur. After all, we know Lakers fans do have some crazy fans considering that cars were burned on the night that they beat the Celtics in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals thus winning their 16th championship.
Those 2 million fans that are showing up at the parade should be fired or laid off if they are just missing work for this worthless parade. You should not be missing work, if you are working for somebody, just for a parade that lasts a few hours. You can catch it on television or other online outlets. What do you get out of it?
