On September 23, 2013, at approximately 9:45 A.M., the Turlock Police Narcotics Enforcement Team (TNET) served a search warrant in the 500 block of Vermont Ave. As a result of the investigation, officers confiscated approximately 100 mature marijuana plants, evidence of a concentrated cannabis lab, a loaded short barreled shotgun, and a loaded revolver. The marijuana plants were capable of producing 150-200 pounds of finished product with a street value of approximately $200,000. David Rivera-Cruz, 22 years old, of Turlock, was arrested and booked for cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sales, conspiracy, and violation of probation.
