Library customers can join in several activities to help prepare for the holidays or take some time to enjoy fun activities this month at the Turlock Library.
Holiday baking is just around the corner. Customers have the opportunity to expand their repertoire of recipes at the Turlock Library Recipe Exchange, Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their favorite recipe to exchange, along with a story to share about how it came to be their favorite.
On Nov. 6, two Library groups will meet and the public is welcome to attend. At 10:30 a.m., the Turlock Library Book Club will discuss “The Coffee Trader” by David Liss. The Friends of the Library will meet at 7 p.m. Children are invited to join the holiday fun too. They can learn to make a paper bag owl to help decorate for fall on Monday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. On Monday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m., kids can have fun, develop fine motor skills and use their imaginations to make their own unique creations at LEGO Day. Their LEGO and DUPLO designs will remain on display at the library after the program. LEGO Day is designed for ages 4 to 12. Younger children
