Denver Broncos Brady Quinn Is Overrated And Needs To Be Demoted To 3rd String

Brady Quinn, the former 1st round 22nd pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, shows once again why he is just another overrated Notre Dame product on Sunday in a preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

After witnessing a spectacular performance by starting quarterback Kyle Orton, Quinn had the chance to secure himself the 2nd string quarterback position but failed miserably. He went 6 for 16 with 1 interception and a quarterback rating of 25.0.

Quinn played most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters and clearly shows that he is not improving since his rookie year in Cleveland. He lacked accuracy, field awareness and general command of Coach Josh McDaniel’s offensive schemes.

After today’s game, it has become clear that Brady Quinn is not NFL ready and should not be the 1st quarterback to come in if an injury forces Kyle Orton to be out. His inconsistency and pure amateur-like reads on the field will bring the team down if he was chosen to start.

Maybe Quinn should contemplate retirement like San Francisco 49ers RB Glen Coffee, if he gets beaten out by Tim Tebow.

Did Quinn steal your girlfriend or something? Lot's of venom for a guy after one performance. He had a long TD dropped that would have made his numbers look a lot better. Calling him just another overrated Notre Dame product is like calling you another crappy blogger. I think the latter is correct.
