In addition, staff is creating a fund development plan to support MYSAs goal of funding annual maintenance of the park. Included in the fund development plan are opportunities for field and facility sponsorships, on-field advertising, donation recognition plaques and annual giving opportunities.
Funding for the construction is provided through City of Modesto Parks Capital Facility Fees, Village One Community Facility District Tax and Parks Fund. The ceremony will include comments from Mayor Garrad Marsh; city staff; Michael Coats, James C. Enochs High School Principal and Frank Cousineau, Chairman of the Board, MYSA.
