Chase Bank Robbery: North Modesto Bank Targeted in Robbery

Modesto, CA- Modesto Police are investigating a bank robbery in north Modesto and are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On Monday, September 17th, at about 1 P.M., employees at Chase Bank, located at 2609 McHenry Avenue, reported a bank robbery. The suspect entered the bank, armed with a shotgun, and demanded money from the teller. Once the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of currency, he fled the bank. The suspect was last seen running in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a possible white male adult, about 5’-7” to 5’-10” tall and weighing about 165 lbs. He was wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a ski mask, which concealed his face.
