BCS Standings Predictions 2010 = Oregon #1, Boise State #2, Auburn #3???

by Thomas J Andrews on October 24, 2010

For the third straight week, the top ranked college football team fell once again to the underdog team. This time it was the Oklahoma Sooners losing out to the Missouri Tigers 27-36. This lost by the Sooners opens the door for a new #1 BCS ranked team. We are predicting that the Oregon Ducks will open the 2nd week as the BCS #1 ranked team followed by Boise State and Auburn, a close #2 and #3 respectively.

The Ducks squashed the UCLA Bruins on the nationally televised Thursday game in which they won 60-13. Now the top ranked Ducks will bring its wacky spread offense to the Coliseum as they’ll face the 24th ranked USC Trojans in primetime on Saturday at 5:00pm PST.

Earlier in the day, Trojan’s starting quarterback Matt Barkley tweeted a message that says:

Wow, Brock just got rocked! Lesnar is to Oregon as Velasquez is to SC. Lezgo.

This is probably the dumbest mistake that this sophomore has made off the field. He not only has provided the Ducks with bulletin board material in the week leading up to the game but also put more pressure on a weak team to perform. Barkley sure talks a lot for a sophomore who hasn’t proven anything in his overrated college football career.

Oregon Ducks vs USC Trojans Prediction: Ducks 50 USC 21

Week #2 BCS Title Game Prediction: Boise State Broncos vs TCU Horned Frogs
