BCS Projections Bowl – Oregon vs TCU = BCS Title Game

by Thomas J Andrews on November 7, 2010

Alabama’s chances of a second consecutive BCS Title game appearance is all but vanished away after losing to LSU on Saturday. Oregon’s impressive win over Washington should cement them as the #1 BCS Ranked team once again. Auburn’s win over Chattanooga (Divison I-AA School) was less impressing and eventual weakness will be evident when they lose to Alabama in the Iron Bowl on Friday, November 26.

With Auburn losing in the Iron Bowl and with them facing a weaker Florida team in the SEC Championship game, it won’t be enough for the Auburn Tigers to leap an undefeated TCU Horned Frogs or Boise State Broncos football teams if they were to win the SEC Conference title.

Oregon’s only biggest test left on their schedule is California. California is an up and down team. It depends on which Cal team shows up on Saturday that may determine the final BCS Bowl Projections 2010 – 2011. However, we do NOT see the Oregon Ducks losing another game.

With Auburn losing to Alabama and Oregon and TCU winning out, they will face each other at Glendale, Arizona for the BCS National Championship title. Below are the rest of the BCS Bowl Projections.

BCS Title Game = Oregon Ducks vs TCU Horny Frogs

Sugar Bowl = Auburn Tigers vs Wisconsin Badgers

Orange Bowl = Virginia Tech Hokies vs LSU Tigers

Fiesta Bowl = Nebraska CornHuskers vs Pittsburg Panthers

Rose Bowl = Stanford Cardinals vs Michigan State Spartans

BCS National Championship Game Winner = Oregon Ducks (Quack! Quack!)

Best Conference (by the end of the year)

1) PAC-10

2) Big-10

3) SEC

4) Big-12

5) ACC

6) Big East

Whoever wrote this article is an idiot. There are two at-large selections. If Boise State and TCU finishes in the top 12 of the BCS, they automatically get BCS bids with TCU going to the national title game. Other than your national title game prediction, your other bowl predictions means absolutely crap.

  • Jerryallen

hey fat arse, you’re a complete dumbarse. rose bowl or any other bowl does not have to take a non-AQ school if one is in 1 you fat arse. go back to your mom’s basement and whack off to those mma guys you like, you fat fark!

  • QUACKQUACK

Oregon is gonna score 80 points on TCU.

@dave, jerry is correct on the non-AQ schools. If one team is in a BCS game, other bowls are NOT obligated to take another. Read the rules before you make a dumb remark!

  • Douglas

TCU is not the horny frogs they are called the horned frogs. Oregon might drop a hundred on TCU if they play em in the national championship game

  • God123

HORNY FROGS!!!! LMAO! LETS GO! TCU SUCKS, BOISE STATE WOULD BEAT THEM AGAIN. IT SHOULD BE OREGON VS BOISE STATE!!!!!

  • joshisneat

    1. Pittsburgh is spelled as such.
    2. Stanford Cardinal
    3. CornHuskers? Horny Frogs?
    4. Auburn’s win was “less impressing” than TCU’s
    5. You just assumed Auburn will lose the Iron Bowl, obviously you have not watched a lick of SEC football this year.

  • Bama77

Yeah sure, 80 points on the best defense in ncaa 3 years straight, a team that has allowed 30 points all year long. You are clearly a dumbass.

  • bamapride01

Auburn is overrated and they should be PENALIZED for paying Cam Newton. USC got 2 years, Auburn should be given the “Death Penalty” and be ban for 5 years and lose 10 scholarships each year.

    Final BCS Standings:

Auburn should be severly PENALIZED for paying Cam Newton, I agree…if that were the case. However, the only accusations raised from these (not so recent and already previously investigated) events are against a man whom, the NCAA has already confirmed, falsely represented himself as acting on Cam’s behalf soliceted money from MISSISSIPPI STATE. Auburn University, nor Cam Newton has been linked nor instigated, nor even falsely accused by any member of the respectable media nor any official governing body. So for now all is right in the world, and by “right” I mean fair. Of course with Bama losing a couple of games and falling hard in the rankings I can understand why you would be, forgive me for saying so but…talking out of your ass. While its no excuse for openly accusing a good man of a haneous act, I can understand the frustration and missappropriation. So for now the situation as you can clearly see is that Auburn, even with amazing statistics, and almost assured Heisman Trophy Winner, and a number one computer ranking 3 weeks running…the Tigers are still dealing with “haters.” But apparently for them, it doesn’t seem to phase them as they bulldoze their way on to a bid to the BCS national title game. You wanna have Bama Pride? Then have pride in your own state, and show some class. You think Cam was paid by Auburn? Fine, but you had better come forward with some proof, otherwise your embarassing ur school (U of A), and people like me who are from Alabama, who know football inside and out and are living in places like Hollywood and trying to explain that, yes, the rivalry between Bama and Auburn is fierce and competitive, but its all in the spirit of good competition and tradition. It in no way ever comes down to feelings of frustration being projected in stupid, blind hatred. Just think back when your mamma used to tell you “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all.” She wasn’t saying that to keep you from hurting others, it was to keep you from making urself look freakin retarded and your mom feeling like acting as if she doesn’t know you in public…Now sit down and hush, the grown ups are talking.

I believe you have almost entirely lost credibility as a writer. Your predictions of the best conference is not far from stupid. Next, Auburn has beaten 4 AP top 25 teams and how many has Oregon beaten? Just look at TCU and Boise State’s schedules next to Auburn as well. I’m still trying to figure out what makes people think that Auburn is going to be beaten in the Iron Bowl. Last I checked Auburn beat both LSU and South Carolina, both of which have won over Alabama. People need to wake up and start realizing that Auburn just may actually be a good team. And for all the TCU fans, congratulations on beating Utah; however, they didn’t deserve to be in the top 15. If you wan to gain some respect in the college football world, man up and join a conference that aren’t a bunch of glorified high school teams.

  • bunkerdave

Boise State and TCU are the exact same teams that played in January in Glendale. And Boise State won that game. No reason to think a rematch would end differently.

Everyone underestimates BSU. Not sure why they keep doing that.

  • trollspotter

I dont think the writer is serious. Probably just a ploy to get a lot of convo started on his little website.
