The week’s college football games proved costly for many programs. Boise State lost to Nevada that cost them a chance at the Rose Bowl and BCS National Championship Title game considerations. LSU, who was the most overrated one-loss team, deserving lost to Arkansas. Now all teams will move up in this week’s BCS rankings.
Below are our BCS Projection rankings for Week 14:
#1 = Oregon Ducks
#2 = Auburn Tigers
#3 = TCU Horny Frogs
#4 = Stanford Cardinals
#5 = Wisconsin Badgers
#6 = Ohio State Suckeyes
#7 = Arkansas Razorbacks
#8 = Michigan State Spartans
#9 = Oklahoma Sooners
#10 = Missouri Tigers
LSU and Boise State’s defeat was what Stanford needed in order to be an automatic AT-LARGE team when BCS bowl schedules are announced next week. Stanford will most likely play in the Fiesta bowl because the Sugar Bowl committee may be terrified in putting up SEC vs PAC-10 matchup in “their” BCS bowl game.
Below are the rest of the BCS Bowl Projections for 2011 games and projected winners:
BCS National Championship Title Game = Oregon vs Auburn; Winner = Oregon
- Oregon will score all over the Auburn Tigers especially if Cam Newton is declared ineligible, 77 – 41 Ducks
Rose Bowl = Wisconsin vs TCU; Winner = TCU
- Wisconsin will lose in a close one and thus proved once again how overrated the Big Ten conference is this season
Sugar Bowl = Arkansas vs Ohio State; Winner = Arkansas
- Can BCS Bowl committees please stop selecting Ohio State? They are the rag dolls of all college football programs. If you want an easy win, select the Buckeyes as an at-large team.
Orange Bowl = Florida State vs Connecticut; Winner = Florida State
- Does this bowl even matter?
Fiesta Bowl = Nebraska vs Stanford; Winner = Stanford
- Andrew Luck is the real deal. He will torch the Huskers secondary for his signature win that will propel him to be the first quarterback selected in the 2011 NFL Draft.
